HOW TO ENTER

Round 1: Video Submission | Flash Audition Deadline: CLOSED

Submit a quick video of your talent ( 1 minute or less). Show us your strongest points! Videos must be submitted by June 3, 2018 (or the flash audition deadline June 10, 2018) to be considered. Videos will be reviewed and filtered by an internal panel of judges. Those selected will go on to Round 2.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS PASSED: JUNE 3, 2018
SELECTED WINNERS FROM THE FLASH AUDITION WILL BE NOTIFIED JUNE 11, 2018.

 

Round 2: Online Audience Vote

Starting June 4,  Round 1 winners will be notified and an online voting contest begins. The total number of online votes each contestant receives in this round will influence the Online Votes Results Category (categories mentioned in Round 3 - see below). Online voting ends June 13, 2018 by 11:59 PM.

ALL contestants from Round 2 will move on to compete in Round 3, regardless of number of votes.

 

Round 3: LIVE Show Auditions

All contestants from Round 2 will compete at the LIVE auditions in front of a live audience at the Philippine Independence Day Expo on June 16, 2018 and each performance scored by a panel of judges. 

 

Scoring will be based on the following categories:

Talent: 50%

Showmanship: 30%

Live Audience Reaction: 10%

Online Voting Results: 10%

 

Contestants with the top 5 scores will compete in the Final Round after the intermission on the same day. Contestants with the lower 5 scores are eliminated. 

 

FINAL ROUND: The Finale

The Idol Ng Bayan 2018 Finale will be on June 16, 2018, following a brief intermission from Round 3. The Top 5 performers from Round 3 will perform one last time in front of the panel of judges. The same scoring system from Round 2 will be applied.

The top three acts will have the opportunity to perform at The FAFI 6th Annual Festival in the New York metropolitan area on September 2, 2018.
